Lamb is safe for Ferrets when prepared correctly and offered in appropriate amounts. Cooked lamb is a rich protein source for ferrets for Ferrets. As with any treat, moderation is key — even safe foods can cause digestive upset if given too frequently or in large quantities.
Excellent protein for obligate carnivores. Treats should never make up more than 10% of your Ferret's total daily calorie intake — the remaining 90% should come from a complete, balanced pet food.
